"Colin is tired of life and is just about to end it. His attempts at suicide are about as half-hearted as the events of his life. He tries slitting his wrists and that is ineffective, then he determines to jump off his balcony railing. That might have worked, but then the vampire shot by an arrow knocks into him." ...

"Laura Baumbach delivers a happily-ever-after hopeful Halloween entry, which would be appropriate for any time of year. Any reader can empathize with the virginal, overly protected and sheltered Colin; and Rowland is a very sexy and hunky predator. Once again she delivers sizzling m/m intimacy with a heartwarming love story entwined with it."

" ...This is a fascinating book about second chances, redemption, and the healing power of love. Laura Baumbach writes characters that I cannot help but care about and brings forth intense emotion in all her books. Colin and Rowland are fascinating characters that more than carry this book and their love affair is both sweet and carnal at the same time. Enthralled did more than enthrall me, it left me speechless and in awe of Ms. Baumbach's talent for characterization and storytelling."

"With his family gone and no friends to speak of, poor little rich boy Colin Dobson decides there's nothing left to live for. Standing on his balcony pumped full of alcohol and sleeping pills, he waits for death to claim him. However, it's not death that comes for him. Rowland Campbell, a millennia-old vampire, has just narrowly escaped from a group of vampire hunters. Injured and with dawn just moments away, Rowland hits the jackpot when he climbs on to Colin's balcony and finds the pale, young man offering himself to death. While Rowland usually see humans as nothing more than food, there's something about Colin that intrigues him and he's not about to let his new thrall go. Deliciously dark and brutal, ENTHRALLED is not your typical vampire fare but it will leave you hot and definitely bothered. "

"The love scenes between Colin and Rowland are both erotic and compelling. Colin and Rowland seem to have nothing in common, but in reality they are two halves of one whole and they complete one another. It is an interesting thought about which character, Colin or Rowland, is thoroughly Enthralled? Once again, Ms. Baumbach has written a story that will hold the reader spellbound through out! Thanks go to Ms. Baumbach for another wonderful read. "

"Author Baumbach does a brilliant job of creating the fragile mental state of a person in total despair over a life turned out wrong, making Colin's pain come across strong and believable so that he touches the reader's heart. The vampire Rowland captures the essence of what a vampire should be, powerful, predatory and sensual. The two characters combined make a deeply passionate and fascinating couple as Rowland's darkness play off Colin's purity as the two fill in the voids that have existed in their lives. Enthralled rises above the average erotica, and with its smooth, rich writing and very well-developed characters, Laura Baumbach is definitely an author to keep an eye on for future works."
